Lighting designers Fritz Fryer have launched a new wicker light that is completely free from any harsh chemicals. It is hand-woven from willow grown in the English wetlands. This video showcases the making process.

Aesop Jeju in South Korea celebrates a community of female divers known as the Haenyo, who have plumbed the depths to find food sources for local inhabitants since the eighteenth century. The bright orange structure in the store window is crafted from the Haenyo’s old diving suits, while an ample bench is upholstered in the same material as the divers’ fishing gloves.
