“A new idea for this year was to make part of my practise portable, so I could spend more time outdoors without sacrificing working time in the studio. So this morning I took a leatherhard vase snugly wrapped in my backpack out to Wyming Brook just west of Sheffield. It was a pretty nippy way to spend the morning but the act of carving somewhere new definitely invigorated the soul!”
